The Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS) is inviting applications from residents of Meghalaya for various positions at the Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) and District Mission Management Unit (DMMU). 1. District Functional Specialist– Farm Livelihoods Promotion (DFS-FLP)

No of posts: 4 [Khasi Region:2, Garo Region:2]
Place of posting: District Mission Management Unit (DMMU)
Age limit: Within 35 years of age
Salary: Rs. 39,000/- per month
Essential Qualification:
1. a. Post Graduate Degree in Agri., Horti., RDAP, Forestry from reputed University/ Institution.
b. Minimum 3 years of working experience in Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation Programmes, should have worked for SHGs/ Community Organisation/ Cooperatives.
or
2. a. Degree in Agri., Horti., Forestry from a reputed University/ Institution.
b. Minimum 5 years of working experience in Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation Programmes, should have worked for SHGs/ Community Organisation/ Cooperatives.
3. Experiences in Livelihood related projects.
4. Extensive expertise in managing agricultural operations, including Crop Planning, Livestock Management, and Agricultural Resource utilization.
5. Experience in engaging with local communities, understanding their needs, and fostering collaborative relationships to enhance agricultural productivity and
livelihoods.
Desirable:
1. Experience implementing sustainable agricultural practices such as soil health improvement, water conservation, and integrated pest management.
2. Knowledge of efficient irrigation methods, water conservation strategies, and water quality management in agricultural settings.
3. Experience in implementing climate-smart agricultural practices to mitigate risks related to climate change and variability

2. Project Executive– Farm Livelihoods Promotion (PE-FLP)

No of posts: 3 [Khasi Region:1, Garo Region:2]
Place of posting: District Mission Management Unit (DMMU)
Age limit: Within 30 years of age.
Salary: Rs. 31,200/- per month
Essential Qualification:
1. Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry from a recognized University.
a) Minimum 1 year of working experience in livelihood-related Projects/ Enterprise Promotion (Farm activities).
or
2. Graduate Degree in AH & Vetty from a recognized University.
a) 0-1 year of working experience in livelihood-related Project/Enterprise Promotion (Farm activities).
3. Individuals having experience in training rural masses are preferred.
4. Computer Skills with emphasis on MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.

3. Project Executive– Non-Farm Livelihoods Promotion (PE-NFLP)

No of posts: 18 [Khasi Region:13, Garo Region:5]
Place of posting: District Mission Management Unit (DMMU)
Age limit: Within 30 years of age
Salary: Rs. 31,200/- per month
Essential Qualification:
1. Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Commerce/ Business Management/ Agri. Business/ Rural Marketing/ Development Practice/ Community Development from a recognized University.
2. Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in livelihood-related Projects/ Enterprise Promotion (Non-Farm activities).
3. Individuals having experience in training rural masses are preferred.
4. Computer Skills with an emphasis on MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.

4. Cluster Coordinator- Livelihoods Promotion (CC-LP)

No of posts: 13 [Khasi Region:8, Garo Region:5]
Place of posting: District Mission Management Unit (DMMU)
Age limit: Within 30 years of age
Salary: Rs. 26,000/- per month
Essential Qualification:
1. Degree in Life Science, Management, Commerce, and Community Development as a major subject from a recognized University.
2. Minimum 1 year of working experience in livelihood-related Projects/ Enterprise Promotion (Farm or Non-farm activities). Rural Development and Poverty
Alleviation Programmes should have worked with Organisations/ Cooperatives/ Community Organisations.
3. Individuals having experience in training rural masses.
4. Computer Skills emphasizing MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.

Age Relaxation

The maximum age for SC/ST candidates is relaxable by five years. For Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), the age is relaxable by ten years (fifteen years for SC/ST) as per the extant policy of the Government of Meghalaya.

Method of Recruitment
The shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail and subjected to undergo the multi-modal selection process, which will include a preliminary examination that will test the verbal, quantitative, and analytical abilities of the candidates and thereafter, a group discussion, skill test, and /or any such other tests as MSRLS may decide.
